Global IM Purchasing:

Within the Global Purchasing Organization, Global IM Purchasing has the key responsibility of awarding new IM businesses, in close collaboration with the Global functions. Our mission is to ensure the award of businesses to the best-fit suppliers, in line with the function’s strategy and from a TCO perspective, fulfilling the targets of cost, quality and flexibility. 
We operate in all the regions (Business Areas) engaging our selected suppliers with our key stakeholders such as: HR, R&D, Design, Quality, Manufacturing & Engineering, Product Line, Marketing, Finance etc.

The role:
Operating across the organization you shall support the global functions (HR, Finance, R&D, Design ..), with purchasing expertize when it comes to the sourcing of external Professional Services. This includes co-developing and deploying strategies and sourcing solutions aligned with both the function’s, global purchasing direction and the Business Area Category Managers. 
To maximise the added value from your support, you will apply Electrolux’s Value based Sourcing Principles. Together with your key-stakeholders, you will also co-develop Supplier Strategies, define and manage the Supplier Relationship. 
You will regularly report your financial results in order to meet the set targets. You will also support with knowledge sharing within the global Professional Services community. 
Job responsibilities:

The Global Category Buyer will:
• Own and manage Global sub-categories within the category of Professional Services with the objective to leverage cost performance, scout innovation and mitigre risk 
• Perform strategic sourcing and other activities, including:
• Data research, analysis
• Identifying best sourcing solution fit for purpose
• Running RFQs and potential contract improvement opportunities supported through the Ariba sourcing tool 
• Performing supplier negotiations and gaining supplier approval in Global sourcing board 
• Develop and retain strong supplier relationships 
• Build and deploy a global sub-category strategies that aligns with requirements of the business
• Support the development of annual budgets 
• Generate commercial initiatives and projects to deliver on agreed targets
• Support with overall management of the Consultancy Services Program ‘CSP’ in Stockholm, ensuring right service is provided to the business and performance targets are met.

Education &  experience:
• University degree (Engineer or Business). 
• 2-5 years of relevant experience from strategic sourcing of Indirect Material, or equivalent leadership experience
• Solid understanding of the strategic sourcing methodology and application of indirect material would be beneficial
• Working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and Word. 
• Previous experience with Ariba is a plus
• Fluent in English, any other language is an asset.

Travel: please consider that being a global role, International travel will be required (up to 20%)
