Global Centre of Excellence Supply Chain Planning Director

Job Description:
The Global CoE Supply Chain Planning Director is responsible of orchestrating end-to-end Supply Chain Planning across Functions and Business Areas and sites. Works effectively across the organization, driving alignment and compliance to the end-to-end Supply Chain Operating Strategy, Leads continuous improvement on processes and organizational capability with support from Global functions. Ensures best-in-class work processes and tools, ensuring the right organizational capability is in place to achieve and sustain improvements on service, cost and cash.

Key accountabilities:

  • Define and put in  place robust S&OP and Planning Process  leveraging best practices across all Business Areas
    Drive global reports required by market/plants to do the analysis (& management reviews)
  • Execute strategic direction and tactical plans for production planning, deployment, demand planning, and S&OP/IBP
  • Support BAs in defining and implementing Standard for Best in class end-to-end Supply Chain Planning (including reporting and PDCA) across functions. Drive standard scorecard reviews ensuring the right gap analysis & action planning is in place to correct variances
  • Strengthen interconnections between plants/BAs
    - Alignment of in-process KPIs Globally(Demand Plan Accuracy, Demand Plan Bias, DSA, MUF, UFR,OTIF,OFR)
  • Define standards, operating procedures and policies between BA Ops Teams and Planning Teams. Ensure they keep updated and enforced
  • Drive Cross-organizational Global Initiatives and  projects
  • Drive implementation of best practices with support from Global functions. Partners with BA and Global Functional
  • Process Owners to develop effective planning processes
  • Drive and own Global IBP Program and implementation in all Business areas

Preferred & Required Skills:

  • Strong leadership – able to set a vision, engage up, down and across functions, and drive alignment to actions
  • Develop, align, and execute a vision and strategy across multiple functions
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal with the confidence to present to senior management
  • Ability and confidence to challenge the status quo. Creative problem solving skills
  • Demonstrates a strong operational discipline. Keen attention to detail
  • Demonstrates a goal oriented, results driven work ethic
  • SAP ERP and APO/IBP knowledge or similar
  • Strategic Planning and Project Management
  • Continuous Improvement/Lean Supply Chain mindset
  • Change Management
  • Advanced MS Office including Project and Excel

Minimum Education Required:

Bachelor’s degree, Supply Chain or similar field preferred
Other continuing education/certification initiatives desirable.

Minimum of 15 years’ experience in Supply Chain Planning/Operations at Manager/Director level.
