THE GLOBAL ENGINEER PROGRAM EXPERIENCE
The Electrolux Global Engineer Program (GEP) is a proactive initiative that brings together young engineering talent across various functions and global offices of Electrolux. This program is for you, who are interested in a global, hands-on experience in an intercultural setting with the goal of securing global employment opportunities within the company upon a successful completion of the internship.

ABOUT THE ROLE
Under direction of supervisor, this position is to provide technical expertise and perform experimentation in the area of chemicals applied in laundry appliances (detergents, bleaches, softeners, etc.). This includes building knowledge with regards the chemicals ingredients and formulation, its impact in the soil removal activity and effectiveness as well as its interaction with other parameters like water hardness and temperature, type of soil and time. Work independently in a team-oriented environment and handle multiple projects. Effective communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.

A REGULAR DAY AT WORK
To contribute to the team goals, you will:

• Design and execute experiments
• Operate laboratory computer/equipment and analytical test instruments
• Collect and analyze data
• Report results, draw conclusions and make data-based recommendations to management
• Identify product concepts and technical approaches, demonstrate concept and technical feasibility, formulate detailed development plans and execute such plans to meet objectives and commitments
• Participate in literature and patent search/scouting of new technology, trends and innovation
• Develop new or adapt existing test methodologies
• Characterize a broad range of chemistry products used in laundry treatment
• Analyze compounds using a range of analytical techniques
• Ability to drive innovation and think creatively

YOUR EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS
• You are a graduating student or recent graduate of Chemical Engineering, Chemistry.
• Advanced English spoken and written
• You have experience or exhibit skills on the following: presentation skills and project management
