THE GLOBAL ENGINEER PROGRAM EXPERIENCE
The Electrolux Global Engineer Program (GEP) is a proactive initiative that brings together young engineering talent across various functions and global offices of Electrolux. This program is for you, who are interested in a global, hands-on experience in an intercultural setting with the goal of securing global employment opportunities within the company upon a successful completion of the internship.

ABOUT THE ROLE
You will be working in the Global Electronic Component Organization team, part of Global Purchasing Organization. As Electronic Engineer, you will be responsible of driving some commodities in dedicated electronic platform/ component families together with R&D on current business and new projects for strategic fit in our products. Additionally, analyses technical solutions with suppliers, for optimization of our component range and/ or standardization. Works autonomously, follows and improves existing guidelines and procedures. Finds and applies the best approach to understand and solve technical issues detected on the market.

A REGULAR DAY AT WORK
To contribute to the team goals, you will:
•Develop methodology together with R&D for managing complexity of components and platform, with aim to identify standardization opportunities
•Design with R&D new architectures for introduction of new component generation/ technology, eventually with AI focus
•Learn our internal processes and tools for component management and benchmark methodology
•Run market analysis with aim to understand trends, suppliers road map, competitors positioning
•Have an active role, within the team, to find the best technical ideas and solutions, in order to improve the product quality and optimize product total costs, including internal assembly cost.
•Actively propose strategic guidelines for supplier/ and component development.

YOUR EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS
•You are a graduating student (Master Degree) or recent graduate of Electronic/Electrical Engineering, or similar fields with courses in Math, Physics, and eventually AI would be a plus.
•You have advanced English written and spoken
•You have experience or exhibit skills on the following: electro-mechanical component and system development, robust design tools, stakeholder management.
