THE GLOBAL ENGINEER PROGRAM EXPERIENCE
The Electrolux Global Engineer Program (GEP) is a proactive initiative that brings together young engineering talent across various functions and global offices of Electrolux. This program is for you, who are interested in a global, hands-on experience in an intercultural setting with the goal of securing global employment opportunities within the company upon a successful completion of the internship.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Join the Global Multi-door R&D team to develop new Refrigerators, with an international exposure to millions of consumers. This involves working with a creative, collaborative team of engineering and design professionals, test labs, marketing, industrial design, and sales towards the successful launch of new products. Development is within a fast-paced environment with superior engineering and design culture using top-of-the-line development tools, state-of-the-art testing and prototyping facilities.
A REGULAR DAY AT WORK
To contribute to the team goals, you will:
•Develop technical solutions of a project through product life cycle including: scoping, designing from concept to production using Catia V5 software, creating functional prototypes, testing and design verification;
•Follow a standard engineering workflow, with milestones, and specific deliverables to be complimented with an innovative, continuous improvement spirit and obsession for exceeding customer expectations.
•Investigate and prescribe optimized materials and manufacturing processes for a given component and sub-systems
•Apply critical thinking to understand depth of design and to predict why, when, and how designs fail.
•Generate novel technical innovation that can be used to gain competitive advantage

YOUR EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS
You are a graduating student or recent graduate of aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering or automotive engineering.
You are fluent in English and preferably have a beginner level of Portuguese.
You have experience or exhibit skills on the following:
•Catia V5 or Similar
•Internet User skills
•PC User skills
