THE GLOBAL ENGINEER PROGRAM EXPERIENCE
The Electrolux Global Engineer Program (GEP) is a proactive initiative that brings together young engineering talent across various functions and global offices of Electrolux. This program is for you, who are interested in a global, hands-on experience in an intercultural setting with the goal of securing global employment opportunities within the company upon a successful completion of the internship.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Electrolux Purchasing is responsible for sourcing direct and indirect materials and services across the entire Group. More than 75% of the Group’s product costs are handled by Purchasing. Its vision is to be a world-class organization that continuously contributes to the Group's strong drive for innovative products and service solutions. It focuses on functional excellence, strong collaborations with internal and external stakeholders, and leveraging global size to ensure the lowest total cost of ownership for materials and services purchased.
The global Indirect scope manages a purchasing base of approx. SEK 16 billion spread across all indirect materials and services, excluding logistics and transportation. The team is composed of about 60 people, between direct and indirect team members.
A REGULAR DAY AT WORK
To contribute to the team goals, you will deal with:
•Consolidate monthly spend data from Industrial Operations, with main focus on Maintenance, Repairs and Operations (MRO)
•Interface with Business Areas (BAs) to collect and analyze data
•Contribute to preparation and management of meeting involving the BAs
•Contribute to the creation of a Center of Excellence with the task to share best practices across the BAs

YOUR EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS
You are a graduating student or recent graduate of engineering/economics
You have sound knowledge of the MS Office suite (particularly Excel)
You are fluent in English, written and spoken
