THE GLOBAL ENGINEER PROGRAM EXPERIENCE
The Electrolux Global Engineer Program (GEP) is a proactive initiative that brings together young engineering talent across various functions and global offices of Electrolux. This program is for you, who are interested in a global, hands-on experience in an intercultural setting with the goal of securing global employment opportunities within the company upon a successful completion of the internship.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Layout and Simulation Engineer will join the Global Manufacturing Engineering team for Electrolux Food Preservation. The Engineer is responsible for creating 3D layouts for plants, lines or stations and developing simulation studies with Siemens Process Simulate. The Engineer will gather data with several stakeholders, analyze simulation results, present and document them.
A REGULAR DAY AT WORK
To contribute to the team goals, you will:
•Being the global reference person for NX Line Designer and Process Simulate within Food Preservation Manufacturing Engineering/Operations
•Drive creation of 3D Layouts according to Electrolux standard and methodology
•Create standard template components and equipment and maintain components in library
•Define 3D specification for supplier data
•Create kinematics for equipment

YOUR EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS
You are a bachelor or a graduating student or recent graduate of master in automotive engineering, Industrial engineering, Mechanical engineering or Mechatronics.
You have advanced English skills and preferably intermediate German
You have experience or exhibit skills on the following:
oSiemens NX or similar 3D CAD software
oSiemens Process Simulate or similar process simulation software
oTeamcenter (Siemens) or any equivalent PLM software
•Programming skills: C++, HTML, Java and Perl/Cgi-bin
•Experience working with Auto-CAD
•Experience in 2D and 3D CAD software and process simulation software during the university period
•Knowledge in Production Engineering, Process Automation and Logistics
•Strong Word, PowerPoint and Excel skills
•Understanding of the part geometry and current processes
•Ability to work in a Matrix Organization and virtual Teams
