Global Manufacturing Engineering Project Engineer

At Electrolux Food Preparation factory in Forlì, we are looking for our next GME Project Engineer to join our diverse and international team.

A typical day at work
At our Forlì factory, where 1000 people work hard for bringing Food Preparation equipment (ovens, cookers and hobs) come to life, you will be responsible for making sure that Electrolux has the best investments and solutions in terms of equipment, technology, automation and assembly processes. You will drive projects in the area of production equipment, testing and programming process.

You will be working with external stakeholders (mainly suppliers) and you will be the glue for many internal departments such as R&D, Production, Quality and factories across the Globe (mainly Italy, Germany, Poland, Romania, and Egypt) in order to support process & equipment standardization. 
We are expecting the new joiner to manage different amazing projects within a certain budget and with high results from both a quality and safety prospective. 

Key operational tasks:
-Participation in manufacturing engineering projects within Electrolux Plants belonging to Food Preparation in mainly Europe Business Area (Swidnica, Forli, Rothenburg, Satu Mare, Zabrze, Cerreto d’Esi) and supporting activities in other regions when needed.
-Perform the manufacturability analysis of New Products including PFMEA study.
-Preparation of technical specifications for equipment, including safety and environment requirements, according to Global Manufacturing Engineering guidelines. 
-Supervise equipment installation in cooperation with Plant Manufacturing Engineering. 
-Being the reference person for programming and testing.
-Ensure test process compliance with relevant technical standards and company guidelines.
-Apply innovative Industry 4.0 solutions, reducing energy consumption and increasing automation level

Qualifications and experience
-Engineering degree in Electronics / Electrical Engineering / Mechatronics. 
-Preferred 2-3 years of experience with household appliances production.
- Experience in project management and new product introduction.
- Experience with industrial equipment, specification and purchasing.
- Knowledge about test and measurement techniques, electrical standards, automation, ESD problematics. 
- Basic knowledge in programming, microcontrollers, and IT systems would be an advantage
- Knowledge of safety and industrial standards,
- Fluent in Italian and English.
