We are now looking for a Global Network Architect to join the Infrastructure Operations team. “Infrastructure Operations” is a department within Global Solutions and you will report to the Head of Infrastructure Operations. The department consist of functions such as “Network Services Delivery”, “Cloud & hosting”, “Network Security” as well as “Enterprise Integration Services”. Our focus is to deliver world class services and support within those areas, to our global organization.
We are now strengthening the Infrastructure Operations team with additional resources for our ongoing network modernization.
As the Global Network Architect, you will give input to the work around enterprise and network architecture for Electrolux and support the company’s mission of Shaping living for the better. You will provide IT strategies and solutions that deliver long term commercial benefits based upon key business requirements. You set standards and own the defined processes and drive the installation of standardized tools for day to day management of Network and Network Security infrastructure.
You will, as the appointed Global Network Architect, work together with the peers in the regions to ensure consistency across the globe and to make optimal use of our global scale, based on cost efficiency and high quality.
As part of the work, you will collaborate with your colleagues within Infrastructure Operations as well as other parts of the organisation, to define the network architecture of tomorrow, based on the needs from our organisation in conjunction with the evolving trends in the market. (SD-WAN, Zero Trust etc)
As part of the daily work, will work closely with our suppliers to ensure that they live up to the agreed delivery when it comes to future-proofing our services.
You will also continuously develop your technical knowledge in the field, which includes product knowledge (Cisco, Palo Alto, Checkpoint etc)
A typical day
You will be responsible for the high-level blueprint for WAN, LAN, WLAN and associated standards and drives the technical design discussions from a Solution Architectural point of view. As the architect you will assess the fit of new requirements and solutions into mid- and long-term solution strategy and architectural roadmap, to meet the business requirements while conforming with the Electrolux IT strategy and IT Landscape. As part of the role you also ensure that we have aligned and seamlessly connected End-2-End solutions between the different functional areas as well as right balance between global blueprint/solution and regional/local variation.
You will manage and govern the change management process of the architectural roadmap.
And finally, you will support and consult project managers in planning activities for determining how the project and the implementation should be run most effectively
As part of the culture of continuous improvement, you will be involved in Lean Thinking projects and activities (EMS/C2W).

Education & experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer science, Business or other related field;
- Relevant experience from LAN/WAN, VLAN and Network design;
- Project management skills and knowledge of project methodologies like Scrum, Agile or Waterfall;
- Fluent in English.
