Your Role

 

The government relations manager is a critical role at Electrolux. At Electrolux, we shape living for the better. In this role, you will drive the design, development and implementation of marketing strategies and programs, using consumer insights, business and market intelligence, to drive a consumer centric approach to growing the brand and business in the market. 

 

A Typical Day

 

In the Electrolux Group , this role deals with policy development, monitoring, informing and influencing legislators and other external decisionmakers in various policy and regulatory areas related to Electrolux business. The function also represents and coordinates Electrolux representation in different external bodies and among key stakeholders.We are on an accelerated growth Journey in APAC & MEA. Ø  Build strong relation with government affairs and proactively drive effect for government guidance and explore trend

Ø  Monitor industry legislatives and regulatory activities on the global, regional, and local levels.

Ø  Inform leadership team of developments with a potential impact on the company, its market position or operations.

Ø  Develop and nurture relationships with government, associated authorities, industry committees and media.

Ø  Influence external decision making and proposed legislative actions, developing proper responses and actions to support the business.

Ø  Represent and protect company interest in different bodies and among external stakeholders including but not limited to Governmental authorities, industry associations, trade groups, and Media.

Ø  Manager public comments via diff channels o rebuild trust and continue growth

Ø  Optimize China legal entity with most tax benefits & reduce impact

Ø  Explore government funding in proper area

Ø  Drive regular industrial trend and analyze especially in real estate

Ø  Government subsidy applications

Ø  Explore CSR opportunity to fulfill company strategy

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS

 

Ø  University degree in government affairs or public affairs

Ø  10+ years of in government affairs or public affairs experience in consumer goods, FMCG, retail or related industries

Ø  Strong collaboration skills with the ability to partner effectively with other functions and business area representatives

Ø  Experience of people leadership in a matrix organization  

Ø  Fluent in English (oral and Written)
