The Green Spirit Engineer is responsible for developing process and waste elimination methodologies in the technological areas & be responsible to apply energy &Green Spirit saving project to improve plant’s performance measured by (Safety, Productivity, Quality and Cost).

Key Operational Responsibilities

  • Support Plants ME Manager in all activities related to the area he is responsible for

  • Lead manufacturing engineering projects in technological area and develop a new manufacturing methods

  • Supporting all the activities running in the technological area to improve safety conditions, productivity , quality and cost

  • Develop solutions to improve the existing manufacturing processes focusing on productivity, labor efficiency and machinery utilization 

  • Analyze production capacity by area and keep it up to date

  • Support all activities concerning new technologies introduction managed by the central team

  • Lead efficiency and develop improvement programs concerning product quality, safety, energy and water consumption and maintenance

  • Support and coordinate with Product Development and Industrial Design in the new product definition phase

  • Create & Develop Work Instructions, SOP, and JDS for the enamel & Painting area

  • Lead in the Green Spirit projects in the plant.

  • Manage consumption (Energy, water etc.) saving activities.

  • Responsible for plant energy saving action plan creating & development.

  • Responsible to implement the Green Spirit outsourcing projects

  • Lead and develop new energy saving technology in the factory

  • Participates in engineering design reviews and evaluates and approves drawings, routings, specifications and other documents

  • Evaluates and solves production problems associated with equipment, maintenance, and/or manufacturing methods. Implements root cause analysis and engages manufacturing associates and maintenance technicians in problem solving methods.

  • Conducts training in Enameling & painting  to introduce new processes

  • Spread the GS culture in the factory by conducting training and awareness sessions

  • Work within budget and project time plan



Minimum Qualification

Who you are

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Process engineering, material handling, preferably in home appliance industry.

  • Project management skill is required.

  • Open communicator.

  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English.

  • Ability to apply Lean manufacturing concepts.

  • Auto CAD, MS Project & MS office tools.

  • Very Good English

  • A high sense of urgency

  • An open Communicator

  • Enjoys working within a team
