Group Accountant

Electrolux Group Accounting team is looking for a new member to join our amazing organization at the Global Headquarters in Stockholm!

As a Group Accountant you will report directly operationally to the VP Group Accounting & Reporting and functionally to the Head of Corporate Finance & Control within Group Treasury. You will join the group accounting team of 8 people who daily strive to shape living for the better.

A typical day at work
In your role you will participate in all the activities performed by Group Accounting in the area of accounting, reporting and consolidation: monthly reporting and consolidation, supporting the group entities in issues concerning reporting and accounting, and preparing the group’s external financial reports in accordance with applicable regulations and requirements. 
In this role as Group Accountant you will be a key player in the Group Accounting team when it comes to providing expertise within IFRS standards, and you will have the specific responsibility of the Group’s accounting and reporting of financial instruments. 

•Active participant in the group’s reporting and consolidation process, assuring correctness and on-time delivery in the group’s monthly, quarterly and yearly closings.
•Specific responsibility for certain areas or steps in the monthly, quarterly and yearly reporting and consolidation process, consolidation adjustments, reconcilations and analysis. 
•Active participant in the production of the Group’s external reports (interim reports and annual reports) according to IFRS including relevant required financial dislosures for the external market.
•Subject matter expert on IFRS, group accounting and financial reporting issues in the Group.
•Specifically responsible for the group’s accounting and reporting of financial instruments, working together with Corporate Finance & Control within Group Treasury in assuring complete and correct accounting & reporting, including external reports.
•Participate in the mainenance, development and communication of the group’s Accounting Manual.
•Drive and implement changes of new accounting standards on a need base.
Take active part in continuous development of the reporting and consolidation process, improving  efficiency and quality of the process

•Minimum 10 years experience of working with group accounting at a multinational listed company and/or big 4 audit firm.
•Masters degree in finance, business administration or similar.
•Solid knowledge of the IFRS framework and accounting in general.
•Solid experience of working with month end close and consolidation procedures.
•Experience of AARO reporting and consolidation system is an advantage
•Strong English skills, oral and written.
