Group Manufacturing Engineering Dish Washer Architecture Manager


Reporting to the Group ME FC&DC Technology & Architecture Director you will be the main partner to R&D leading Manufacturing Engineering activities related to new products – Dish Washers - in the earliest stages of the development, cooperating with Global R&D Fabric Care / Dish Care, GME Fabric Care / Dish Care Business Areas and Automation & Simulation, GME Automation, GME Common Core Technologies, Global Capex, Global Digital Industrial Operation, IT, Global Purchasing, Quality.

Main responsibilities:

• Partner to R&D Product Architecture and Technology
• Partner to Global Purchasing to component supply strategy
• Lead pre-studies as new architectures, new modules, new technologies
• Drive Technical Opportunity Assessments for Manufacturing Engineering
• Responsible to provide inputs to R&D in order to apply the concepts of Design For Assembly, Design For Manufacturing, Design for Automated Assembly and modularity till CP00 
• Work with Lean Engineering during the development of new products to create first draft of labour map
• Apply technology roadmap
• In cooperation with Quality identify the roadmap for defects detectability within manufacturing processes
• Reference for cost reduction initiatives on Global architectures
• Drive benchmarking within Electrolux and Competitors

• Precision in Objectives of new products (Time, Cost, Quality)
• Overall project control till CP00

- Engineering University degree (Bachelor or Master) or equivalent combined with professional experience in industrial manufacturing
- Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing industry
- Knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management process
- Knowledge of Core Technologies and digital tools
- Basic knowledge of IT infrastructure
- Knowledge of written and spoken English
- Strong computer skills particularly Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to work in a Matrix Organization and multinational team 
- Available to travel internationally
