Your Role

Looking for an experienced and strategic result driven Head of Sales. The primary function of this role is to accelerate the growth of profitable sales by leading and motivating sales team, architecting a sales strategy and developing new business opportunities to drive them into actions and results in home appliances consumer markets. The successful candidate will be energetic, persuasive and well organized with market insights and able to demonstrate the ability to manage staffs with strong leadership.

 

A Typical Day at Work

  • Provides business and people leadership to drive sustainable profitable business growth in Korea home appliances consumer market.
  • Develops and is accountable for budgetary/financial objectives.
  • Shapes and implements sales strategies (online & offline) reflecting changing business and consumer market environments by creating the best consumer experience values and activities in the field.
  • Determine annual unit and gross-profit plans by implementing Sales strategies; analyzing trends and results partnering with marketing group.
  • Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories in Korea; projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products.
  • Build up strong relationships with key client stakeholders at both senior and mid-management levels.
  • Continuously Identify potential business growth opportunities and share with internal stakeholders, collaborating with them to actualize the opportunities into business results.
  • Understand the competitive landscape and market trends and effectively communicate the company's value prop, tech, process and current partnerships with sales team by aligning pricing, product strategies with marketing team.
  • Organize sales team in line with business strategies by recruiting, selecting, orienting and training employees as well as coaching them for people and business growth by creating consumer centric high performing culture.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with management and cross-functional teams, for both technical and non-technical audiences as well as external customers.
  • Work through the Field Sales, Account Management and Sales Operations teams to implement targeted sales strategy.
  • Ensure reports and other internal intelligence and insights to be provided to other internal organizations to collaborate with them.
  • Analyze pipeline and lead data, deliver periodic reporting to the sales and marketing teams providing key business insights: typical reporting relates to Demand Generation, Pipeline Forecast and Trends, Conversion Rates, Target Account,
    Market Segmentation, Win/Loss, Age.
  • Create and Manage key KPIs related to the lead and the opportunity waterfall in order to implement a consistent closed-loop between marketing and sales.

 

Minimum Qualification

 

Who You Are

  • Solid Sales & People Management Experiences in Home Appliances or Consumer Market Industry
  • Solid Sales experience in digital channel will be plus
  • Energetic – Drives and delivers business results in a short/long term perspective with strong ownership
  • Agile – understand and quickly catch up and response to changes in Appliances customer/consumer business
  • Fast Learner with open-minded attitudes – willing to learn and open to new trends, technology, ideas leveraging diversity
    internally and externally and drive cross-collaboration.
  • Strategic Thinking and analytical skills well balanced with data and experienced based insights
  • Exceptional Communication and negotiating skills
  • Strong Organizational skills and ability to multitask
  • Excellent People leadership skills
  • Strong customer/consumer/client relationship building skills

 

Technical Skills

  • Good PC Skills (i.e. MS office)
  • Strong customer understanding, building relationship, presentation skill and cross-functional communication skill (verbal and written)
  • Sound English Skills (Written/verbal)

  

Education

  • Bachelor's degree (Business-related preferred)

 

Preferred Career Experience

  • 12 years+ in sales field with Home Appliance Industry or FMCG
  • Solid Sales experience in digital channel will be plus
