HRBP Director Staff Functions BA Europe

Your role: 

As HRBP Director you will partner with business leaders in Finance, HRCCI, IT and Legal to drive the people and organizational agenda to achieve organizational results. You will support business leaders to engage people around the purpose, strategy, and objectives to support engagement and performance across teams. 

At the same time, you will lead a team of 2 HRBPs and report to SVP HR, Continuous Improvement and Communications BA Europe.

You will set and follow up on regional and global diversity and inclusiveness targets to support our Shape Living for the Better purpose. You will drive organizational development to ensure a sustainable Electrolux for the future. You will work to develop global talent pipelines and succession plans to ensure alignment of the HR mission and support the full deployment of the Business strategy.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Provide HR functional leadership in people and organizational areas; adding value in taking a strategic and operational business decision.
• Support delivery of the people strategy within the business area through the identification and development of targeted HR interventions to deliver commercial performance.
• Actively participate in business planning and strategy development for the business area and provide people strategy plans to support business goals.
• Ensure understanding, communication and implementation of the HR Principles and process across teams while ensuring smooth HR operational delivery.
• Equip the organization with right capabilities and drive talent and succession planning processes relevant to the business strategy and context.
• Act as a change agent and coach managers on how to handle change, engage employees and build capabilities effectively.
• Collaborate with global and local HR teams to evolve the functions in terms of quality of talent and effective organization design. 
• Lead HR projects/initiatives to add value to BA Europe HR functional delivery.

HOW WILL YOU DO THIS?

 As a Business Partner, you

• Understand the business context, issues, and challenges to provide coaching to managers.
• Use business knowledge to provide effective solutions that align with business goals
• Partner with the management team to understand key performance issues, objectives and 
drivers and their implications for people and organizational strategies.
• Equip the organization with right capabilities and drive talent and succession planning processes relevant to the business strategy and context.

As a Change Champion you

• Challenge the status quo, champion new initiatives and act as a catalyst for change that drives continuous improvement in business performance
• Coach managers on leading change, engaging employees and effectively building capabilities 
• Support delivery of the people strategy and drive business results by identifying and developing targeted HR & Organizational Development initiatives

Your profile:

 We believe the right person has:

• A university degree in a business or related field
• Extensive HR Business Partnering experience, preferably in an international, matrix organization

You demonstrate:

• Strong business acumen, understanding of how the business agenda drives people imperatives and future organizational needs
• A continuous improvement mindset, pro-active attitude and agility
• Excellent interpersonal skills and effective relationship building across organizations
• Managerial courage to challenge the status quo and have successfully led change initiatives
• High levels of resourcefulness, influence/organizational savvy, execution skills (strategy through implementation) 
• Ability to balance the strategic and the practical with strong implementation and drive for execution
• Sound judgement and decision making
• A high tolerance for ambiguity, resilience
• A passion for continuous learning
• Ability to drive alignment
