Supporting the technology areas: washing technology, chemistry of washing, textile technology

• Researching and investigating innovative solutions in the area of Fabric Care cleaning chemistry
• Assessing new technologies and ideas with high technical risk and proving the technical feasibility by theoretical and experimental analysis
• Performance testing and concept verification at consumer level. 

Key responsibilities:

• Washing technology, chemistry of washing, textile technologies
• Propose and define new cleaning chemistry technologies for projects within time and costs targets.
• Keep updated with the technology innovation in the field of expertise.
• Pre-studies & technology investigations with the aim to push innovation based on consumer insights and technology trends.
• Interaction with experts in different scientific fields and working in different areas e.g. electronics, materials, industrial design, Product Lines.
• Supervision and support for the chemical aspects in the activities for the development of washing and drying cycles
• Contribute to the development of the washing and drying technology roadmap
• Propose initiatives for the improvement of the washing performances in existing products
• Develop an external network to universities, research institutes and innovation partners to follow-up the technical and scientific state of the art and transfer innovative concepts/technologies to appliances with particular reference to the main detergent manufacturers
• Documentation by creating test protocols and reports
• Support budget definition and follow-up for the projects assigned 
• Technical Project leadership also involving eventual functional reports or external resources in the projects assigned.

• University degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Textile or similar.

Preferred Career Experience:
• The ideal candidate has experience in R&D laboratories of white goods enterprises.
