Reporting to the Senior Manager, Distribution Center, the QIC Manager has process control responsibility over the cycle counting program within the RDC along with supervision of the facility’s cycle counters. The Inventory Control Department will ensure all material movement system transactions, documentation flow and control are performed to Company standards for accuracy and timeliness ensuring a high level of system wide inventory integrity.


  • Builds people capability through effective employee relations, hiring, training, and communication for supervisors, and front-line hourly and salaried associates
  • Develops and motivates team to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short- and long-term performance goals
  • Delivers effective change leadership while driving business changes and minimizing people impact
  • Communicates and collaborates cross-functionally to assist team to solve operational issues
  • Develops, implements and maintains standardized training process for new employees and process improvement for existing employees.
  • Maintains a high level of inventory accuracy and integrity.
  • Monitors, controls and reports inventory integrity data.
  • Maintains product identification and location program.
  • Implements statistical methods for problem solving and continuous quality improvement
  • Maintains and communicates quality metrics and initiates actions/improvement plans to assure goals are met
  • Recommends improvements in production methods, equipment, operating procedures and working conditions.
  • Prepare and lead customer and regulatory agency audits
  • Employee will be required to heavily communicate with internal operations group, management up to the executive level, as well as the external customer call center.
  • Has a regular presence on the plant floor to drive engagement with teammates
  • Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures and aligning with legal and safety regulations
  • Reviews and prepares any action plans while ensuring productivity, quality and customer service standards are met
  • Meets financial objectives by forecasting requirements, adhering to an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions
  • You may work off-shift and weekends and you may also be required to travel (less than 5%)

Minimum Qualification


  • Bachelor’s degree from accredited 4-year university
  • 5+ years of operations management experience within logistics, distribution, or similar industry
  • Personal computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, AS400, MRP systems, etc.)
  • Experience with both WMS and TMS systems
  • Familiarity with supply chain (T&W, lead-times, inventory, cost inputs, etc.)
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable in a dynamic environment.
  • Proven experience identifying development opportunities and leading change initiatives.
  • Strong communicator, self-directed, motivated and goal oriented.
