Your Role

Regional Retail Marketing Technology Manager leads the technology design, implementation, adoption and operations of the regional retail marketing business. He or she represents the business needs in the region and cooperate with global technology teams to ensure leverage and scalability.

A Typical Day

  • Technology partner for the business team
  • Design, optimize, build and maintain solutions for the retail technology products and operations
  • Build and optimize data capabilities for retail sales and visual merchandizing
  • Own the data governance and data quality within the retail marketing technology stack
  • Translate business priorities and goals into short to long term technology solutions and processes
  • Supervise and train the users across multiple business functions
  • Research, evaluate, recommend and purchase marketing technology systems for the region
  • Integrate Martech systems with non-Martech systems
  • Work closely with the technology vendors and maintain existing vendor partner relationship
  • Lead new vendor selection for marketing technology systems
  • Gatekeep the tech stack, approve/veto technology purchases
  • Ensure all marketing technology systems meet security standards and legal requirements

Minimum Qualification

Who You Are

  • Degree in Computer Science, or related field or equivalent experience (preferably degree in both computer science and data engineer/analytics)
  • 8+ years of experience in the retail marketing or/and technology role
  • Experience in data engineering and analytics
  • Experience in managing tech teams
  • Software engineering experience is a plus
  • Experience with marketing technology products and platforms (former regional role is a plus)
  • Hands-on experienced with agile or lean startup methodologies in tech/non-tech teams
  • Strong communication ability (both written and spoken)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with stakeholders across functions
