Electrolux Major Appliances (EMA) North America (NA) is currently implementing an Shop Floor Manufacturing Execution System (MES) in its North American factories.  This effort is associated with a broader, strategic initiative to increase digital capabilities across all factories in the Electrolux Global Organization. 

This Project Manager role is responsible for supporting the day-to-day execution of the MES solution in our NA factories.  This is a key leadership role, responsible for providing oversight to all IT aspects of this project, partnering the other key leaders from the factory operations team. 


  • Serve as the IT lead responsible for the the MES system implementation and adoption at our NA  factory locations.  representing the NA IT team in all aspects of the initiative including executive level readouts and presentations.
  • Play an active role in managing the relationship of the NA System Integration (SI) Partner, who is assisting with the implementation at all NA factories
  • Participate in day-to-day project oversight activities and provide direction to respective project work stream leaders
  • Actively manage and participate in the following Project areas: Resource planning; Financials (Budget, Actuals & Forecast); Issues and Risks; Quality assurance and testing; End User Readiness; Go Live preparations; cutover and
  • stabilization activities; Transition to “Run and Maintain” Support Model.
  • Facilitate Weekly Status Report readouts and regularly scheduled Steering Committee Meetings
  • Provide feed to the NA IT Leadership team and the Global IT Operations Center of Excellence – driving continuous improvement and team collaboration.

Minimum Qualification


  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S). from a four-year college or university or 5-7 years of IT and business industry work experience;
  • 5-7 years of overall IT project, program, or portfolio experience, with demonstrated experience with manufacturing environments
  • Solid project management skills and experience, including the utilization of standard project management tools & methodologies; and ensuring adequate project documentation is established and maintained
  • Experience with managing and partnering with 3rd party system integrators
  • Experience in managing project budgets in compliance with the company’s financial practices.
  • Ability to travel and be on site at the manufacturing locations
  • Estimated travel is 50% - 60% on site at the factory locations during project implementation
  • Project Management / PMI Certification is a plus
  • Experience in coordinating cross-functional teams and cultivating solid working relationships
