Electrolux Major Appliances (EMA) North America (NA) is currently implementing the SAP ECC Manufacturing ERP System, replacing legacy AS400 based applications in its North American factories.  This effort is associated with a broader, strategic initiative to increase digital capabilities across all factories in the Electrolux Global Organization.  

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serve as the IT lead for the overall NA SAP Manufacturing initiative, representing the NA team in all aspects of the initiative including executive level readouts and presentations.
  • Play an active role in managing the relationship of the NA System Integration (SI) Partner, who is assisting with the implementation at all NA factories.
  • Lead the project team in implementing the manufacturing solution in the SAP ECC solution at the 4 NA factory campuses: Kinston, NC; Anderson, SC; Springfield, TN; and Juarez, Mexico. The pilot location will be the Kinston, NC factory.
  • Participate in day-to-day project oversight activities and provide direction to respective project work stream leaders.
  • Actively manage and participate in the following Project areas: Resource planning; Financials (Budget, Forecast & Actuals); Issues and Risks; Quality assurance and testing; End User Readiness; Go Live preparations; cutover and stabilization activities; Transition to “Run and Maintain” Support Model.
  • Facilitate Weekly Status Report readouts and regularly scheduled Steering Committee Meetings.

Minimum Qualification

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S). from a four-year college or university
  • 5+ years of overall IT project, program, or portfolio experience, with demonstrated manufacturing system implementation experience, SAP preferred.
  • Experience on large project team structures.
  • Experience with managing relationships with 3rd party system integrators.
  • Solid project management skills and experience, including the utilization of standard project management tools & methodologies; and ensuring adequate project documentation is established and maintained.
  • Experience in managing project budgets in compliance with the company’s financial practices.
  • Ability to travel and be on site at the manufacturing locations listed above.
  • Estimated travel is 50% - 60% on site at the factory locations during program rollout activities.
  • Project Management / PMI Certification is a plus.
  • Experience in coordinating cross-functional teams and cultivating solid working relationships.
