As the IT Senior Business Analyst – Factory Application you will shape and manage demands associated to custom (in-house built) factory applications. As a core resource in the IT Operations Solutions team, expect to play a key role in supporting solution alignment and standardization across factories. The role will be working with a cross-section of stakeholders, advocating for technology solutions, defining, and managing short-term and long-term solutions, and delivering a backlog of development demands. In this role you will report to the Operations Solutions Manager.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:  

  • Document current and/or future state business process maps.
  • Design, develop and implement proof of concept (POC) using Electrolux technology stack - ASP.NET, Azure Paas, SharePoint, SAP, AS400 etc.
  • Lead business requirements and gap analysis workshops.
  • Translate business requirements into technical requirements and align with development team(s).
  • Determine, document and lead opportunities for optimization of existing systems across all factories.
  • Perform quality assurance and end-user acceptance testing to confirm the product satisfies end-user requirements.
  • Obtain key input from Enterprise Architecture groups to ensure architecture compliance and identify solution interdependencies.
  • Provide technical and functional support to application users.
  • Coordinate, help prioritize & resolve production support issues as needed.
  • Develop, document, and adhere to standard procedures and best practices.

Minimum Qualification

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • University degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing applications.
  • Exposure to multiple, diverse technologies, platforms, and processing environments.
  • Good understanding of strategic and emerging technology trends, and the practical application of existing and emerging technologies to new and evolving business and operating models.
  • Results oriented analyst with excellent hands on experience in developing and improving manufacturing operations through automation and data management.
  • Strong experience with troubleshooting and problem solving.
  • Strong background in IT processes and governance.
