A REGULAR DAY AT WORK / MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Key responsibilities:

• to drive IT sourcing initiatives and develop strategic Vendor relationship for the Electrolux Professional;
• to work in strict coordination with the stakeholders of the IT organization (mainly Head of IT Infrastructure, Head of IT Applications) to understand the demand and to find the best solution for Electrolux Professional;
• to build relationship with Suppliers in order to understand their capabilities and fit towards our demand, keeping balanced balance demand and supply with quality and time in deliveries and cost.

The ordinary activities of the role are:
• monitor the market and analyze trends in company spending in order to make recommendations in areas for possible cost reduction;
• develop, establish, implement, and enforce Supplier and Outsourcer guidelines, obligations, and service level agreements;
• comply with all procurement policies and procedures, including those for equipment, hardware, software, and service;
• benchmark market conditions for present and future pricing, availability, lead-time of sourcing;
• research, identify, and qualify potential new Suppliers, in order to secure more cost-effective sources of products and services;
• keep under control and manages all the IT Agreements managing the contracts life-cycle: renewals, revisions, amendments, addendums, etc.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE 
• University or comparable in technical discipline (computer science, math, physics, engineering, etc.);
• excellent English knowledge, written and spoken.

• 7+ years of experience of negotiating global purchasing contracts within IT (SW, HW, Service, Cloud);
• hands on experience of Software, Outsourcing, Services and Telecom agreements;
• experience at managing sourcing with a TCO approach;
• working knowledge of all legal aspects of contract management;
• proven track record in delivering services with quality and savings through effective purchasing techniques;
• experience of developing and implementing effective procurement processes;

• experience in Vendor Management or Procurement, including all aspects of strategy sourcing development and execution;
• experience of successfully conducting a range of negotiations across a variety of IT categories;
• comprehensive knowledge of procurement policies and regulations;
• solid working knowledge of current IT technologies, total lifecycle cost structures and pricing mechanisms;
• effective contract lifecycle management and negotiation skills;
• ability to build relationships with Suppliers who provide a broad spectrum of IT products and services;
• general knowledge of accounting, finance, and legal;
• ability to manage priorities in delivery, product demands, and procurement timelines through analytical capabilities;
• strong written, oral communication and interpersonal skills;
• adept at benchmarking and conducting research into IT product and service-related issues;
• advanced skills in sourcing IT component of the procurement lifecycle e.g. strategic thinking in development of sourcing approach, analysing and understanding market dynamics, analysing and understanding internal dynamics, negotiation strategy, evaluation strategy, financial analytics and modelling, risk management.
