Main Objectives

Deliver commercial strategy to ensure profitable sales and sustainable growth within the defined channel / territory including Key Account Management.

To drive business revenues and manage through effective and efficient strategic account planning.

Supporting and mentoring sales team and building strong relationships with key retail partners.

Manage Strategic Business Plan implementation with Key Accounts (Hirschs, Tafelberg & Kloppers), select Independent retailers and Buying Groups.  Focusing on Account Management tools, such as scenario planning, Account forecasting and Preline Meetings
Provide strategic insight related to both short term and long term product assortment objectives adhering to ‘Right Product, Right Quantity’ initiative
Co-ordinate all sales process support functions, to provide a sustainable market advantage within the key retail environment for the AEG brand each Quarter and Fiscal Year.  Ensure effective two way exchange process between product and process management.  Manage sales process strategy in line with product strategy and targets.  Responsible for the timely feedback of critical information to help support the product planning process
Develop and implement fiscal budget management mechanism to help drive both sales growth and cost control in accordance with Electrolux annual corporate requirements
Demonstrate strong market awareness and generalist economic knowledge, monitoring Retail trends and competitor products to achieve 'Market Expert' awareness of the Floorcare Market Segment.

Account Management / Selling process
35% contribution

Execute seasonal business reviews/monthly meetings with Key Account, demonstrating strong business awareness, to provide a central communication link between Electrolux and the Retailer. 
Responsible for account management and sales to ensure profitability and optimization of market share
Demonstrate and monitor strong account relationships, communicating Electrolux's commitment to the customer
Ensure all monthly KPI's are in place and regularly updated namely; SOH figures, monthly sell out and run rate principles of Key accounts
Manage Buying Group (Shaw) which will include ranging/promotional opportunities/cross functional support needed

Minimum Qualification

Grade 12 Certificate
Sales Management Diploma (optional)
3 years KAM account management experience
Experience 3- 5 years of experience in sales/business development roles
