We're currently looking for our new Laboratory Engineer, who will be responsible for the realization of tests during several stages of product development.

As Laboratory Engineer, you will help our purpose by being in charge of product tests. Within the R&D team, you will be part of a group of engineers and technicians working together in order to launch new products on the market, striving to implement new tecnologies, to improve quality and to achieve compliance with Chilean laws and standards. You role will be determinant to ensure conformity with Electrolux's certification process. 

You will execute product testing of key functionality, ensuring all products meet Electrolux's quality and safety standards, as well as the standards demanded by national and regional law. You will also be expected to provide opinions and collaborate with the area's leadership team in the decision-making process, presenting data about results whenever necessary. 

Moreover, you will be responsible for identify opportunities for improvement in products and in our testing processes, working in a preventive approach alongside the rest of the R&D team. Contributing to our search for continuous improvement, you will be expected to developing new test methods in order to comply with our evolving needs. 

As part of the culture of continuous improvement, you will be involved in Lean Thinking projects and activities (EMS/C2W).

Minimum Qualification

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electromechanical);
- Experience with testing methodologies;
- Knowledge of test reports;
- Proficiency in simulation of mechanical modifications;
- Intermediate Office skills; 
- Advanced English;
- Portuguese is a plus.
