This position is a senior level technician requiring a minimum of 7 years’ experience in the appliance repair industry.  Responsible for training and developing junior technicians.  Candidate should be able to multi task and assist management with projects and supervisory duties.  The lead technician should be proficient and excel in all aspects of appliance repair and customer service.  The lead technician should also represent Electrolux in the most professional and proficient manner.


  • Repair consumer’s appliances as requested
  • Drive service vehicle through an assigned route to multiple repair locations
  • Record all activities via computer system/tablet
  • Maintain an inventory of parts on assigned vehicle and minimize cost through proficient inventory control.
  • Work with junior technicians to maintain an accurate truck inventory
  • Wear designated uniform & maintain standards of personal grooming & appearance consistent with Electrolux values
  • Assist management in motivating and training technicians to achieve performance standards
  • Coach and train technicians on processes, policies, and technical concerns.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Authority to approve replacements per Warranty guidelines.

Minimum Qualification


  • High School Diploma required.Appliance Repair Certification or AAS preferred.
  • 7+ years’ experience in appliance repair industry
  • CFC Certified
  • Appliance Repair Electrical License as required (by state)
  • Must have and maintain a satisfactory driving record in accordance with Electrolux policy.
  • Able to move large appliances and lift up to 100 lbs
  • Demonstrates the ability to provide leadership for all techs and assist management in implementing processes, policies and programs.
  • Achieve performance standards and assist management to achieve team level performance standards.
  • Strong organizational skills necessary.
  • Proficient in training others on the use of all tools and equipment provided by Electrolux


  • Elite understanding of mechanical and refrigeration theory and their repair procedures.
  • Demonstrates highest level of diagnostic and repair ability.
  • Ability to share knowledge through training.
  • Superior knowledge and understanding of computer and tablet usage.
  • Proficient in sealed system repairs
  • Ability to train others on sealed system repairs
  • Proficient at cross referencing parts when necessary
  • Keep a well maintained, clean, organized, and professional in appearance truck
  • Keep all equipment in working order
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization
  • Build and foster relationships with the team that enables an effective ability to lead
  • Problem solving and critical thinking a necessity.
  • Ability to tailor communications for internal and external customers
  • Ability to perform assigned duties with little or no supervision
  • Supports management and direction of the company

  • Coach on effective use of resources including inventory, policies, processes, tools, and time management.
  • Other duties as assigned.


  • Required to drive long distances and maneuver a service vehicle
  • Ability to move heavy appliances, sometimes awkward in shape and size, and lift up to 100 lbs
  • Ability to sit or kneel for extended periods of time

  • This position works out of their home with regularly scheduled meetings at a centralized location.
  • Occasional overnight travel may be required.
  • Regular rides with other technicians.
