In this role as the Marketing Information Systems Specialist you will join our North American digital marketing team to help bridge the gap between information and content with solutions.   Marketing information along with content enrichment is one of the key areas within commercialization of Electrolux Appliances.  The position will be focused on marketing information throughout the product lifecycle and solutions that support the marketing needs for internal and external customers.  Listening and documenting new requirements across various business areas, as well as supporting existing processes and systems, will be key to the success of this role.  Eventually this role will grow into becoming a subject matter expert in marketing information and content as well as marketing solutions. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Interacting and collaborating with other employees across the organization from areas within marketing as well as Sales, Ownership Solutions, Product Line and IT
  • Answering questions related to marketing information or how information is gathered and consumed across the product lifecycle 
  • Rolling up your sleeves to investigate and troubleshoot issues 
  • Listening to requests and then being able to translate those needs into system or process changes 
  • Continuously learning new things
  • Testing new functionality or an enhancement to existing functionality and being able to clearly document issues and successes 
  • Participating in discussions where your subject matter expertise benefits the organization  


Minimum Qualification

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3 years of client focused business analyst experience
  • Experience creating user journeys, use cases and business / functional requirements
  • Experience gathering and documenting business requirements for both internal and external customers
  • Project management experience with managing small to medium projects with a preference towards Agile methodology
    QA and UAT organization and execution 
  • Experience using SaaS project management solutions 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 
  • Working knowledge of business principles and terminology
  • Outstanding written and oral communication and decision-making skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects / tasks in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within and without marketing across the organization
  • Detail oriented and well organized
  • High energy work style reflecting an extraordinary level of personal initiative
  • Strong work ethic with a visible propensity for intensity and passion for achievement
  • Patient, calm and performs well under pressure

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

  • Experience with the following technologies: CMS (Content Management), LMS (Learning Management), DAM (Digital Asset) and PIM (Product Information)
  • Experience with Intranet platforms or customer / vendor portals
  • Experience with software and development QA methodologies 
  • Previous experience within the manufacturing industry
