Develop and maintain master schedule to meet customer requirements in a J.I.T environment. Coordination and alignment of material requirements planning, inventory control, and expediting of purchased components to maintain stable production schedule.


  • Maintain planning information system data.
  • Control of rejected material returns, engineering changes, and excess and obsolete materials in area of responsibility.
  • Drive successful new pilot introduction and ramp up/obsolescence avoidance plans.
  • Balancing supply and demand in conjunction with demand flow planners.
  • Managing inventory, at part level, avoiding stock outs and obsolescence.
  • Work closely with other departments to navigate through Engineering, QA, and Mfg issues.
  • Communication link between marketing, distribution, engineering, manufacturing, and planning.
  • Call basic conflicts of demand and capacity to the attention of other members of management.
  • Align the factory production schedule with factory/supplier capacities and work with the Supply Planner to incorporate the information into the Sales, Inventory, and Operations Plan (SIOP).
  • Measure the factory and drive improvements in: Daily Schedule Adherence (DSA), Schedule changes, and Weekly Schedule Adherence (WSA).
  • Lead (or appoint a designee) to attend all Clear to Build Meetings and incorporate all changes as far out in the schedule as possible and track the root cause.
  • Responsible for applying all requirements related to EMS, ISO9001/14001/50001/ Green Spirit according to the position.

Minimum Qualification


  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field of study.
  • 3 years of work-related experience in scheduling and planning.
  • Knowledge of Computerized Material Planning Systems/ MRP, BOM etc.
  • Proficiency with general office technology and Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Word).
  • Experience in transformation from legacy systems to SAP preferred.
  • Ability to develop personnel and work groups into high performing teams by visible leadership among all levels of associates, specifically, but not limited to, Material Planners.
  • Experience in establishment of production plan from sales forecast with varying degrees of accuracy. Understanding of manufacturing processes that affect ability to react quickly to unanticipated orders and establishment of
  • inventory levels to support these challenges (ROR).
  • Responsible for applying all requirements related to EMS, ISO9001/14001/50001/ Green Spirit according to the position.
  • Must be knowledgeable in AS400 (Mapics) system and SAP.
  • Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PP, Outlook).
