Material Coordinator(1st. shift, 4:45 AM - 1:15 PM)SPRINGFIELD
Checks inventories of parts daily and schedules movement of parts in trailers on lot to be sure that parts are moved to the lines as needed. Identifies and communicates any parts shortages in a timely manner. Unloads, verifies and receives incoming materials (purchased parts, raw steel and/or service parts) from suppliers and our parts stored in trailers on the yard. Moves materials to designated areas and operates equipment appropriate to those tasks. Uses AS/400 to track parts in trailers on the yard (Warehouses for Wool Dock Coordinator) and uses internet supplier sites to track incoming parts. Updates parts inventory boards as changes are made. Maintains appropriate in-house inventory levels of parts to support line production.
QUALIFICATIONS AND BASIC
High school diploma or GED
3 years materials experience
Math Level 1
Must have an Electrolux license to operate a tow motor.
Communicate English clearly and concisely verbally and in writing.
Must learn AS 400/JDE computer skills within 30 days.
Able to bend, stoop, grip, reach and lift up to 40 lbs. on a repetitive basis.
Able to stand/walk/sit for the majority of the shift.
