By driving a consumer driven supply chain network, the group supply chain at Electrolux supports profitable growth across the end-to-end supply chain through product availability, delivery service and customer experience across all Business Areas, markets and channels. Material handling and inbound supply chain will drive the development and maturity of day-to day operations and standardization of Material Handling , Factory and Inbound Supply Chain within all our group factories with strong leverage of the EMS methodology and practices (Electrolux Manufacturing System).
Key Tasks & Responsibilities:
•Act as the reference point and expertise for all aspects of material handling, factory, and inbound supply chain in terms of methodology, tools & techniques, innovations, and training.
•Guide and support BA and factory supply chain teams towards excellence in material handling and the physical flow inbound and inside of factories
•Lead associated team members and engage in the Group Supply Chain leadership team
•Own, maintain and continuously develop the EMS Methodology for the area of material handling
•Develop tools, solutions, and techniques for the full material handling process based on internal & external best practices.
•Promote best practice sharing and collaboration across factories/ BAs incl. benchmarking with other companies
•Conduct EMS Performance Assessments at plant level with focus on warehouses and material handling activities and ensure that the lean certification processes are adhered in standards and targets
•Own and coordinate performance reporting of Material Handling incl. EMS global activities
•Support and drive key projects in the area of Material Handling and factory flow design, e.g. as part of product/ process transformations
•Master’s degree or equivalent
•Min 10-15 years of experience in operational supply chain processes, factory logistics, lean manufacturing, supply chain logistics IT or equivalent areas
•Excellent, proven understanding of material flows and physical supply chains, as well as planning/ scheduling and connection points to manufacturing
•Previous management experience at plant level or at regional/ international level
•Ability to work in an international environment, to collaborate worldwide and work in a remote organisation
•Proven continuous improvement and project management skills
•Strong ability to deliver results in a network setup, through influencing skills and expertise-based leadership
•Fully proficient in English both verbal and written
•Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organisation
