You will be based in Porcia, our site nearby Pordenone city. Porcia is the biggest Electrolux site in Italy, dedicated to our Product Line Care. Here we develop Washing Machine, Dish Washer and Tumble Dryer for our consumers worldwide. 

We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer or person expert in injection tools or product development to work in the CX Technology organization, within Care R&D. You’ll be part of the Control Panel team that today counts 8 people. We are also responsible for the maintenance of the product. We apply this concept for Dish Care and Fabric Care in order to support the Electrolux global strategy, generation plan projects, cost-out and quality activities.

In this role you will work with a focus on Dish Care products.

We are responsible from the beginning till the start of production regarding the development of the mechanical Component for Control panel area (plastics materials) 

There is a wide range of plastic components, from a simple push button to a more complex electronic or mechatronic assembly.

In the R&D community the work goes from research to product maintenance. It means thinking about new technologies, new materials and the application of these with new concepts on mass productions .

The daily job is:
• You will be responsible for the development of the whole project from  concept to final production
• You will receive the information through: concepts , preliminary  designs ,idea and develop 3D File / drawings / technical solutions / technology
• With prototype and pilot tools, you should be able to build components that are support for industrial design , laboratories for technical testing , purchasing to define supplier , must interface with manufacturing sites for the feasibility analysis
• After that you will be in charge of the development all technical documentation  (Final drawings / 3D File / specifications ) valid for the construction of the project in according with external suppliers, follow the tolls construction  and coordinate activities pre-production and final test for final approval costs , specifications and the start of production
• You will work in a close collaboration with other departments such as purchasing, quality, laboratories

• Technical Diploma or University  (Engineering)
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of previous working experience in similar environment
• Knowledge of Catia
• Knowledge of Laundry appliances will be a plus
• Willing and able to travel
• English (Fluent)
• Strong willingness to learn and grow
• Team player attitude, you have clear the power of great teamwork
