Mechanical Engineer

Due to the successful growth of the organization and ambitious plans to reinvent the food preservation appliances, we are opening our doors to Mechanical Engineers to join our R&D Team in Susegana (Veneto).

On A REGULAR DAY AT WORK you will have the following responsibilities:

• Mechanical component design and development
• Create and validate new mechanical components / system taking care of its design and development (technical specification, functionality, reliability, manufacturability, safety, …)
• Design creation and release of mechanical components / systems within time frame, cost target, quality level, process constrains, …
• Design integration of global/regional modules to sector platforms
• Robust design tools using (CAD, CAE, FMEA, DFMA, tolerances analysis, … )
• Analysis of technical solutions with suppliers, manufacturing engineering, purchasing, quality, factory and other involved functions
• Understand, change and support creation of component/system design specifications/requirements/guidelines.  
• Identify and support standardization by ensuring that new development fit into the platform and subsystem structure
• Part and product approval: understand technical tests results to take decision on design development and final approval for series production
• Define and implement new mechanical features and functionality design
• Reports in Check Point meetings/steering team meetings
• Create strong relationship with all functions in the organization, to enhance the delivery of global targets

• Master degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Strong knowledge in mechanical component and system development and design
• Strong structured and engineering approach during each development phase
• Knowledge of the main manufacturing processes (metal forming, molding…etc.) 
• Strong knowledge of 3D design tool (CATIA is preferred)
• Basic knowledge of thermodynamics
• Basic knowledge of approval and environmental rules in different countries
• CAE knowledge (mainly FEM structural), fluid dynamic, dynamics, metal forming, molding, thermal analysis is a plus.
• Experience in Design for Assembling and Manufacturing is a plus
• Knowledge of laboratory equipment and test results evaluation is a plus
• English language
