Media Relations and PR Manager
The Electrolux Corporate Communications team has an exciting and creative opportunity that will play a key part in developing our company brand image. We are now searching for a strong communications professional to further develop Electrolux corporate reputation with engaging storytelling through media relations and PR projects about this journey.
You will be a part of the Corporate Communications department as a member of Electrolux Group News and Media team, which drives the internal and external news flow about the Electrolux Group and manages its owned channels. You work closely with the Group Social Media Manager as well as colleagues in HR, Marketing, Sustainability and several other departments.

As Media Relations and PR Manager you will implement media relations strategies that support the group strategy and goals of the function. You’ll act as group spokesperson, write group press releases, manage group press hotline and coordinate international media requests. You’re someone who can develop compelling storytelling that brings the Electrolux story to life across our owned channels. You’ll be adept at building and maintaining relationships with key journalists in Sweden and internationally. You’ll provide senior management support that entails speech writing, briefings, engagement preparations, media and spokespeople training,
The position is based in Electrolux Global Headquarters in Stockholm and some travelling should be anticipated.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
•5-10 years relevant experience in a company or agency
•Demonstrable experience in effectively communicating with top-level executives and external stakeholders around complex business ideas and strategies,
•Strong writing and editing skills, including press releases, Q&As and communications packages, also experience from working with visual communications, e.g. videos and animations,
•A track record of being both proactive and reactive with media, and a strong network of contacts and understanding of the Swedish and international media landscape
•Ability to deliver compelling verbal communication - even on contentious topics - with confidence and sensitivity
•Relevant university degree
•Excellent written and spoken English skills are mandatory. A good command of spoken Swedish, preferably also written. Additional language skills are beneficial.
