The metal stamping Project leader is part of the central manufacturing engineering team and will be responsible for driving manufacturing engineering projects and support all sheet metal stamping activities involving electrolux egypt plants , in this role You’ll be a utility belt with the tools and techniques to manage opportunities to ensure on-time delivery of project deliverables & work with ME managers to achieve best utilization of new equipment, and sharing with them the last updated Technologies in his field.




Responsibility you will be having

  • Leading new manufacturing engineering projects & be Reference for tooling activities, specifications, Design, delivery and operation

  • Define and improve manufacturing equipment and tooling.

  • Prepare technical specification of equipment and tooling including safety and environment according to Global Manufacturing Engineering Guidelines

  • Supervise equipment installation, in cooperation with Plant Manufacturing Engineering.

  • Analyze technological innovations. Be the Interface with Suppliers, Technical Purchasing and Plant ME. (Toolmakers , equipment suppliers , Lines suppliers) Experience with European/Italian, Korean, Chinese tool suppliers.

  • Perform the manufacturability analysis of new Products.

  • Support efficiency programs and Quality improvements in cooperation with Plant Manufacturing Engineering.

  • Develops manufacturing processes by studying product requirements; researching, designing, modifying, and testing manufacturing methods and equipment; conferring with equipment vendors.

  • Prepares specifications and quotations for labor, tooling and equipment to support manufacturing requirements ( especially in the area of stamping and presses)

  • Participates in engineering design reviews and evaluates and approves drawings, routings, specifications and other documents.

  • Designs and procures tools/equipment and works with finance to obtain appropriation requests.

  • Analyze and interpret data to make engineering recommendations regarding performance or process improvements

Who you are


  • Bachelor degree in Mechanical / Mechatronics engineering

  • Minimum 5 years of manufacturing experience and tooling experience (e.g. metal stamping, dies, fixture design, repair & maintenance) is required.

  • Experience in presses frames and pressing shop as (machine, stamps, tools, materials, capacity study, process analysis, forming, cutting drawing, etc.  )

  • Very good knowledge in structure of metals , metals mechanical behavior , metal alloys , heat treatment , extrusion of metals , drawing of metal

  • Very good experience in sheet metal forming processes 

  • Technical skills in manufacturing processes and methods including process flow, layout, production equipment and tooling specification and capital improvement costing and proposals.

  • Auto CAD, MS Project , 3D , Inventors & MS office tools

  • Detail oriented and analytical with a proven record of success leading product projects and activities, achieving long-term continuous improvement.
