We are looking for an Electronic or Mechatronic Engineer for our Model Based Design and Laboratory Organization.

The exciting thing about this role, besides the development the Food Preservation appliances of the future, is the possibility to be part of the creation of a new set of competences and assets in the control algorithm and product functionality field.


As Model Based Design Engineer you will work closely with colleagues from all over the world, get to understand different realities, cultures and people, as well as being part of an open-minded team, where creativity is welcome and innovation applied to product development and methodology is the key mission.

You will closely interact with our Global Connectivity and Technology Center and Universities worldwide, and you will be in contact with the best experts in our company, having the possibility to acquire the state of the art (and beyond) knowledge in the white good industry.

Your duties will include:
• Creation of new control algorithms and functionality in domestic refrigerators
• Implementation of new testing setup based on Model in the Loop (MiL), Remote Control Prototyping (RCP) and Software in the loop (SiL) methodologies
• Support of the definition of product virtual emulator
• Support the test execution and all validation phases
• Create necessary documentation, testing and approval guidelines
• Close interaction with Hardware and Firmware teams for a seamless transfer from Laboratory to mass production

• Master degree in Electronic Engineering, Mechatronic or Control System Engineering or similar engineering
• Strong knowledge of MatLab/Simulink
• Ability in signal/data analysis and simulations (IT and network knowledge is a plus)
• Experience with data acquisition and control systems (Labview preferred)
• Ability to model mechanical, thermal, fluid, and electrical systems 
• Capability to translate complex control algorithms to production level appliance controls
• Competence on statistical analysis; 6-Sigma methodology comprehension is a plus
