You will be based in Porcia, only 1 hour distance from Venice, joining the R&D Global Technology Organisation in Porcia – the team of highly qualified engineers supporting development of new platforms and services globally and across categories.

If you are passionate about innovation, possess skills on automatic control, model base design with particular focus on motor control and inverters development and enjoy dynamic, international environment, join us and strengthen our Power Electronics & MBD Team, which on everyday basis, supports all Electrolux product lines with the best-in-class inverter modules.

Your main tasks:

• development and maintenance of other SW modules part of the Motor Control area (communication, Safety Relevant SW, interfaces with other application algorithms);
• preparation and maintenance of SW related documentation such as functional block schemes or SW modules functionality description;
• testing and preparation of documentation for Safety Certification (IEC/UL) of Motor Control Board;
• using of Matlab / Simulink tool to simulate models and create algorithms
• using of Matlab / Simulink tool to automatically generate the C code of algorithms  
• integration of the C code automatically generated from Matlab / Simulink in the C code kernel deployed in electronic board for professional and domestic appliances
• maintenance of inverter platform for domestic appliances with special focus on power electronics


• Master’s Degree (PhD is a plus) in Electrics / Electronics / Control System Engineering or equivalent experience
• At least 2 years of experience on motor control development or on control of inverter for industrial applications.
• good knowledge of micro-controllers, C language and assembly programming;
• proven knowledge of Matlab/Simulink and its applicability on embedded systems;
• familiarity with electric motors functionality principles, construction and application;
• proven knowledge of motor control algorithms with special focus to sensor-less techniques;
• basic knowledge of HW design for inverters;
• basic knowledge of Power Electronics and EMI/EMC principles.
