MZM Machine Operator-2nd shift-Kinston, NC (K)
Work under general supervision, responsible for operation and routine maintenance of fabrication equipment. May be assigned or rotated to all level three positions in the Fabrication department.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Operate a variety of fabrication equipment.
The operator will be responsible for the operation of automated equipment and inspection of material and finished parts for conformity to specifications.
Perform Adjustments on sensors for correct processes.
Inspect finished parts and work in progress to ensure conformity with manufacturing specifications.
Responsible for die changes and making adjustments on tools (dies) to meet quality standards.
Move material from Kan Ban to MZM using a Forklift and managing the service of the Kan Ban area.
Set the schedule with DOME to follow processes.
Responsible for starting correct orders and putting orders on hold and closing orders.
Complete all work assignments in a safe, productive and cost-effective manner designed to meet or exceed Electrolux quality, safety and workmanship standards. Clean work area daily.
-The activities to be carried out include the following energy management system information, indicated but not limited to: Knowledge and understanding of the energy policy of the plant, which must follow and promote, as well as knowledge and identification of the Significant Energy Uses (SEUs) and its operational controls, maintenance, objectives, actions plans and energy indicators performance.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
Prefer previous experience in metal fabrication with good mechanical aptitude; ability to perform routine machine set-up and troubleshooting; good communication skills with ability to follow oral and written work instructions; must be quality conscious with good attendance, housekeeping, and safety record. This job requires periodic heavy lifting and preferred Forklift experience (must attain a forklift license for this position).
