SUMMARY

Ensures parts made from the press department are properly placed on racks to prepare parts for finishes to be added.  An On/Off Loader will also properly stage and store parts while maintaining full compliance with all safety, quality, inventory controls and housekeeping policies.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

·  Follow detailed instructions, processes and procedures to ensure made parts are prepared for finishes to be added

·  Examine completed work pieces for defects, such as chipped edges or marred surfaces and sort defective pieces according to types of flaws.

·  Ensure materials are properly stored, staged and loaded

·  Maintain compliance with all Company policies.

·  Collaborate with Supervisor and/or associates to solve work-related problems.

·  Ensure full compliance with all safety, quality, inventory controls and housekeeping policies

·  Collaborate with Supervisor and/or associates to solve work-related problems.

·  Comply with policies, guidelines and regulatory requirements per Electrolux Management System

·  Report issues with quality, processes, equipment and materials to Team Lead or Production Supervisor

·  Maintains a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions

·  Perform all other assigned reasonable and safe duties as requested by Team Lead, Supervisor or Fabrication/Finishing Leadership

Minimum Qualification

EDUCATION OR CERTIFICATIONS

 ·         High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

 

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

       ·  1 to 2  years of manufacturing or distribution experience required

·  Competent math skills, legible handwriting and comprehension are a requirement 

·  Previous material handling experience is a plus

·  Ability to perform repetitive tasks that require the use of various defined processes

·  Ability and willingness to learn various position in Fabrication

·  Demonstrated ability to work in a team oriented environment

·  Competent math skills, legible handwriting and comprehension are a requirement

·  Must be able to learn new tasks and become multi-skilled

·  Ability to learn basic inspection technique knowledge

·  Demonstrated ability to self-inspect work with limited guidance

·  Possess ability to work with a sense of urgency

·  Must be able to work flexible hours/shifts as required

·  Must be able to work in a team environment

·  Must be able to successfully complete all additional training for position
