Patent Portfolio Manager

We have a strong focus on innovation and design and in relation thereto also a strong focus on strategic Intellectual Property management.
We are now looking for a Patent Portfolio Manager to join us in Group Patents. You will be working closely with our patent attorneys and business units around the world, reporting directly to Head of Group Patents Sweden. You will be based in our HQ office in Stockholm.

A typical day
The key responsibility is to drive strategic patent portfolio management globally together with our patent attorneys. To secure that our different patent portfolios are well aligned with respective present and future business needs and that financial targets are met. As our patent portfolio manager, you will have global functional responsibility for the development and maintenance of processes, tools and presentation formats for patent portfolio management. You will also work together with different Patent Attorneys and patent boards responsible for different portfolios to set forward looking strategies relevant for each product and technology area.
You are of course also expected to contribute to the continuous development of the intellectual property (IP) function within Electrolux.

Education & experience 

• University degree in Master of Science, Master of Engineering or equivalent.
• Broad technical skills, preferably in electrical or mechanical engineering.
• Good understanding of business and finance. University degree in Business Administration is a plus.
• Minimum 3 years of strategic patent portfolio management experience.
• Experience within strategic intellectual property management or licensing.
• Fluent in English.
• Swedish, German or Italian language is a plus.
