Performance Lab Tech-1st Shift-Kinston, NC (K)
1st Shift 7:00 AM-3:30 PM EST
-Unpack, install, and connect dishwashers.
-Accomplish cleaning performance testing in accordance with AHAM, IEC/EN, DOE and consumer evaluation organization standards or procedures.
-Accomplish drying performance testing in accordance with North America and Global
-Prepare and apply measured test food soils and media.
-Load soiled dishes in test units and reference unit (when applicable).
-Grade tests and communicate results to team lead and Engineering staff.
-Complete evaluation documentation for all accomplished testing.
-Install/remove test units.
-Operate computer-based data acquisition applications.
-Conduct spray arm rotation checks.
-Maintain consumables inventory and identify needs.
-Retrofit sample and prototype parts for testing.
-Develop load patterns for new or competitor models.
-Evaluate performance deviations between prototype and current production parts; identify discrepancies and deficiencies; communicate results to team lead and Engineering staff.
- 2-year technical degree or 5 years equivalent work experience
-High level of ability to execute multiple tasks with precision and consistency
-Ability to lift 25 lbs. consistently, move and load dishwashers into test boxes
-Excellent natural or corrected eyesight
-Basic proficiency with hand tools
-Basic computer skills
-Working knowledge of simple wiring
-Basic math skills
-Basic cooking skills
-Exceptional communication skills
-Good record keeping skills and legible handwriting
-Housekeeping to meet the standards of Electrolux 5S
