Performance Laboratory Leader – Cerreto D’Esi, Italy

As Performance Laboratory Leader, you will be responsible fort he development of Range Hoods performance strategy and assuring coordination of Laboratory facilities and activities to continuously improve specifications experience of products.

You will

• Drive Electrolux Range Hoods performance strategy.
• Guide the benchmarking activity and sure delivery best in class target
• Manage team and resources to deliver fast, accurate, reliable and affordable technical solutions.
• Elaborate, evaluate and present performance and energy consumption test results 
• Ensure continuous improvement in testing methodologies, practices and processes.
• Drive development of Test  Specifications and design guideline
• Manage internal customer relationship.
• Periodic communication of achievements in meetings, workshops, events, etc.
• Work and collaborate in an international environment with multiple global and regional product teams, competence centers and experts.
• Team and talent growth.
• Ensure all activities comply with Electrolux code of conduct, safety and legal demands
• Ensure the planning and follow up of all project-linked test activities
• Drive feasibility studies
• Follow up and evaluate technical trends
• Support Categories/ Platforms/modules in relevant knowledge 
•Collaborate with Product Line to define the target and activities needed to support the performance claim definition
• Participation in technical committees for standards
• Ensure participation of lab resources to projects
• Relationship and alignment with consumer’s institutes
• Testing methodologies (DOE, statistical methodologies…)
• Project and resources planning
• Define relevant specifications and ensure testing on Range hoods performance and assure alignment on test methodologies 
• Support Platforms, Product Care and Technologies in relevant testing
• Create continues collaboration with Global Connectivity & Technology organization
• Provide improvement proposals to platforms
• Ensure proper maintenance of testing equipment according to ISO9000
• Ensure compliance with work environment and safety regulations
• Participate in technical committees for standards

Willingness to travel


• MSc in Mechanical engineering, or any other related technical degree.
• Testing methodologies (DOE, statistical methodologies…)
• Project and resources planning
• Solid technical background in performance testing.
• Demonstrated experience in managing a team of technical experts in a R&D environment.
• Fluent English.
