Your Role

The mission of Product Line Head is to lead the categories in his PL for SA Egypt profitable growth by driving the commercial agenda in the Sales Area (SA). The mission is to achieve competitive advantages for our consumer experience area care in line with overall Product Line strategy.

In this role, you will ensure consistency around brands product strategy among categories and with Sales Area commercial and marketing plans.
You will act for integrated plans, from range to activation. Define a relevant channelization strategy to ensure success in all sales channels. 

In your role, you will report operationally to the Sales Area MD and functionally to the VP Product Line APAC & MEA. You will be part of the Sales Area Leadership Team. You will work closely with the Business Area (BA) Product Lines teams to leverage synergies across the market , whilst enabling commercial team to meet profitable targets. 

Typical Day 

1. Drive Profitability: 

• Lead the Sales Area’s Commercial Triangle: Drive the Go-To-Market strategy alongside Marketing & Sales Teams.
• Drive Volume, Price & Mix (VPM) to develop the relevant growth strategy for every market segment, and countries Sales Channels, in line with the commercial policy and the profitability targets.
• Define improvement action taking into consideration mid and long-term impact towards profitable growth.
• Define and leverage Star Products based on company's strength. Bring a focus of executions around Star Products which are already defined sub-category for leveling up of business performance.
• Align the overarching PL strategy across markets, leveraging synergies and sharing best practices to drive scale.

2. Drive Sales Area’s Ranging by channels & set market pricing
• Define the Products Range for the Sales Area, in close collaboration with central (BA) Product Line teams and countries PL teams, based on market analysis and benchmarks. 
• Influence Sector roadmap based on quantitative data and structured business plans.
• Closely collaborate with BA teams to ensure that local opportunities fit in the sector long term plan
• Define the best pricing strategy to reach the business objectives by considering the competition and the consumer’s expectations.
• Commercial launches: Shape a winning core benefit message differentiating overall ATL & BTL 360 activity with marketing. Plan Phase-in & Phase-out for main key channels with country team and generating fact and effective performance during the new launch process.
• Build and lead a strong team of (country) business leaders

QUALIFICATIONS

• University degree in Category Management 
• 7+ year’s professional Category Management/Sales experience driving profitability (VPM)
• Fluent in English (oral & written)
