As of November 2018, Cerreto d’Esi factory is officially part of the Electrolux group. This is one of the most recent acquisition of Electrolux, hence exciting times are ahead for you to strengthen the Controlling function and build up a collaborative culture within yours and with the rest of the teams.  

As Plant Controller, you will be a key member of the plant management team. You, together with your team of two people, will provide financial analysis so that the industrial plant can make appropriate financial decisions, especially in regards to cost reduction and investments. Thanks to your solid knowledge in cost accounting, you will ensure that plant costs are minimized and present accurate month-end closes. You will work closely with the Electrolux financial community, the management team and with all the different functions present within our production site.  

Key operational responsibilities
• Act as a financial business partner to the plant manager and the factory management team and provide financial leadership for the needed business decisions
• Be part of the European operations controlling community and act as an integral team member focused on delivering right analysis, reports, and recommendations from the own plant
• Budgeting, forecasting and follow up of all relevant factory cost and KPIs, in line with group standards
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and yearly closing process 
• Ensure that practices and policies are enforced: inform and educate organization about financial procedures, evaluate and improve policies
• Prepare official reporting according to the Electrolux Accounting Manual 
• Calculate product cost (incl. standard costing and variances, transfer pricing)
• Proactively analyze data, trends and highlight potential deviations/opportunities to improve results 
• Lead, encourage and coach our controlling department of two people
• Manage external and internal audits
• Control costs and expenditures in the following areas: 
• Variable cost (Direct Material, Direct Labour, variable factory overhead) 
• fixed cost (e.g. maintenance, staff, indirect labor, indirect material) 
• Capital expenditures including the preparation and follow up of investment requests 

Competencies needed 
• University degree in business administration/ economics or similar 
• Experience in controlling or similar financial areas, preferably in a multinational industrial environment
• Good understanding of manufacturing processes is preferred, 
• Good knowledge of IT tools (MS Office, MRP systems, preferably SAP)
• Required Languages: English, Italian
