A typical day
As a PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) Support & Development Manager you are tasked with delivering and driving key technology projects for the Global PLM. This includes deep involvement in the other departments within IT and Sectors globally. Which is a key mechanism for harmonization and optimization the IT landscape, supporting our Product and Global Operation teams and processes. You are expected to lead/participate in a series of projects or programs, utilizing either existing internal IT skills or externals where appropriate. The role requires significant multi-tasking, a broad business perspective and conceptual thinking to solve ambiguous problems. You will report to Head of PLM.

Some of your key responsibilities:

• Direct and manage project development from beginning to end.
• Bridge between Global PLM and other Electrolux teams, understanding priorities and requirements, to secure successful deliveries.
• Support and drive the commonality in IT to enable common data and common processes across Electrolux.
• Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management.
• Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
• Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.
• Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
• Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project team members and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.

Education & experience
(Minimum qualifications)

• Minimum of 5 years of experience at a senior level within an IT, business or combined skill set of business process knowledge and insight, as well as strong IT understanding and interest. 
• A background from R&D related business roles is preferred.
• Experience from working on implementing complex solutions on sector level across multiple site or countries supported by an IT tool.
• Broad and clear understanding of functionality as well as the use of ERP, MRP, PDM and other key IT applications/tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or IT.
• Certified in project management (relevant training).
• Depth knowledge/experience of drive change and will be comfortable acting in a role of senior change agent.  
• Solid experience of implementing ERP and other sophisticated IT solutions, preferably in complex global organizations. Worked in an international environment for at least 3 years.
