Predictive Maintenance Technician(1st. shift, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM)SPRINGFIELD
Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility’s equipment.
Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, piping systems, troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
Read and interpret equipment manuals, schematics, prints, cut sheets, and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities.
Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.
Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision.
Comply with safety regulations, PPE and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
Understands and participates in the work order management system (CMMS).
Perform all other duties as assigned or needed.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS, ETC:
Requires a high school diploma/GED.
An AA degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance a plus.
Must have 4 year apprenticeship program and two years experience or 8 years of documented manufacturing experience.
Must be highly motivated and able to work independently.
Must have experience in troubleshooting from a laptop using RS Logix, RS Links and Panel Builder 32 Allen Bradley PLC’s.
Must be able to pass the “AAA” 50 question written assessment and hands on assessment.
Must have own tools and tool box and operate safely (will provide a list of needed tools).
Must be able to bend, stoop and lift and move objects up to 40 pounds consistently with
heavier weight necessary at times.
Must be able to work up to 30’ in the air inside a scissor or articulating lift.
