PRM Assistant – 12 months

The PRM Assistant reports to the Price Revenue Controller and would suit a graduate or a part qualified individual looking to pursue a career in a commercial finance role. The role will be responsible for supporting the wider business with price analysis, setting and price management.

The role requires a self-motivated individual and part of the role will require working with other functions within the organisation including Sales Managers and Product Line teams.

Key responsibilities:
• Prepare the market analysis reports daily and communicate to the wider business taking necessary action where required ( Work IT )
• Support the price list creation process and communicate price list to the trade on a timely basis, coordinating with Product Line and Sales
• Assist in maintaining the price simulation tool (‘price calculator’) on a monthly basis to ensure that it can be used as the basis for commercial decisions
• Provide support in the monthly forecast
• Ensuring that customer prices/hierarchies are correctly and accurately maintained on the SAP system
• Assist with resolution of price queries when required and make sure corrective action is taken to prevent repetition through working with Accounts Receivables and Sales
• Collation & Analysis of store audits to ensure that agreed requirements are met

Skills, Experience & Qualifications:

• Graduate in business discipline >> Minimum 2:1
• Part Qualified or desire to start an accounting qualification e.g. CIMA
• Minimum 2 years experience in Finance
• Strong communication skills – written & verbal
• Strong analytical skills
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Excellent Excel skills
• Ability to build relationships with a variety of stakeholders across the business
• Strong team player
• Previous experience of SAP is desirable
