You will be based in Solaro Plant, 744 Employees, innovation – oriented Dishwasher manufacturing Plant located in the Milan area, which appliances are shipped all over the world with a relevant volume in Europe and North America.

In this role you will lead the research, development, investigation and application of new or existing manufacturing technologies, coordinating and leading the operations to produce household dishwashers according to the targets of the factory in terms of Safety, Quality, Costs and Deliveries and, in specific, support continuously Labour Productivity, optimize technological resources, meet productivity and efficiency targets.



•Delivering new products feasibility, preliminary cost estimation for tools and equipment modification and related timing

•Joining internal new product development activities that require technology input and output for new or modified equipment interfacing with Manufacturing, Product Line, Purchasing, Quality and Suppliers

•Follow the Industrialization of new products

•Preparation of technical specifications for new automatic equipment, including safety and environment requirements/impacts, accordingly to Global Manufacturing Engineering guidelines and new product needs

•Supervision and coordination of equipment development phases with suppliers including test and installation, fine-tuning and handover for manufacturing

•Ensure adequacy and updating of production equipment, as well as managing introduction of new equipment in the factory

•Analysis of the production capacity, shape manufacturing set-up accordingly

•Rationalization of the Plant layout and process flows in case of new installations according to Lean Manufacturing principles

•Ability to plan and use capital expenses (CAPEX) plan for Equipment, Safety, Quality, manage investment requests, ensuring investments will be realized in expected time and meeting expectations            

•Collaboration both with Maintenance Dpt. for the definition and the planning of activities necessary to improve the reliability of the equipment and with Global Manufacturing Engineering, Global R&D for the industrialization path of the new products

•Support and promote Electrolux Lean Manufacturing in the Factory



•Technical School or University degree (preferred), in Mechanical, Electronics, Electrics or Mechatronics

•Previous experience (5-6 years, at least) in Project Management and deep knowledge about new equipment-installation, pressing processes of stainless steel components, specification and purchasing

•Deep Knowledge of automation and industrial standards with attention for safety and environmental requirements/impacts

•English language (fluently)

•Knowledge of CAD 2d design tools

•Strong problem-solving skills (analytical and methodical)

•Digital attitude, Enthusiast and Proactive

•Goal-oriented and focused on quality

•Self-organized, able to bridge theory with practical with a cross functional approach
