Product Care Project Leader – Cerreto D’Esi, Italy.

As a Product Care Project Leader you will develop mechanical solutions for cooker hoods, create and drive design concepts and secure specification implementation, align with design guidelines. You will support implementation of our strategies in terms of Cost & Quality Excellence and sustainability.

Main responsibilities:

Lead the projects in terms of:
•Cost Reduction - investigate and implement projects to reduce DM (Direct Material), DL (Direct Labor) costs and sustainability
•Quality Improvement - investigate and implement projects to improve the quality of the manufactured products
•Factory Support - provide technical support to the factory to assist in the reduction of rework, to improve productivity, and to process requests for design changes

Qualifications:
• Bachelor degree or equivalent in Engineering 
• Knowledge about Quality tools (FMEA, PSRA, …)
• Knowledge of mechanical component development, system development and design
• Structured engineering approach
• Electronic knowledge is appreciated 
• Knowledge of the design tools (Catia preferred)
• PLM-knowledge (Teamcenter)
• Experience in manufacturing processes (metal cutting, bending and welding; metal forming; molding etc. )  is appreciated
• Experience in material technologies is appreciated (plastics, steels etc.)  
• Fluent English 
• Ability to take initiative, being proactive and creative
• Attitude to continuous improvement & innovation in all the job areas
