Product Line Controller - Laundry

We are now looking for a Product Line Laundry Controller to our team. You will be based in Stockholm, Sweden and report to the Senior Vice President (SVP), Product Line Laundry.

A typical day

You will play a key leadership role in enabling the SVP Product Line Laundry to deliver profitable growth through insightful analysis, pro-active decision making support and action focused performance measurement. 

You’ll provide proactive financial leadership to the SVP and the team. You will lead the strategic planning, budgeting and reporting processes for the Product Line. You will be will be a member in the PL Laundry leadership team as well the Finance Leadership Team.

Some of the key responsibilities:
Lead the Strategic Planning process for the Product Line: 
•Work closely with the SVP Product Line and the team and support development of the strategic plan and the linked Product Line generation plan with aggressive but realistic share, revenue and costs targets.
•Own the Product Line Profit and Loss targets setting as well as the CAPEX for the respective categories within Product Line.
•By providing financial leadership, support the Product Line team to deliver long-term sustainable profitable growth and return on capital employed.
•Work closely with the other Finance teams in the Sector, Industrial Operations, R&D, Sales and Marketing to ensure efficient flow of financial information and delivery of the targets for the different categories in the P&L.

Optimize business performance:

•Able to take prompt actions and drive changes aimed at constant and consistent optimization of performance.
•Provide leadership as regards product IR, including preparation, follow up & follow through by supporting and coaching the Category Controllers.
•Drive portfolio analysis and execution to ensure right balance of product category profitability. Reporting and follow-up on key Product Line financials through budget and seasonal target variance analysis.
•Along with the SVP Product Line, champion the right internal controls attitude within the Product Line teams. Provide support to Global Product Boards & Global Operations Controlling.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
•A Master degree economics, business management or finance.
•Preferred career experience in Commercial Sales and Product Line Controlling.
•Minimum of 10 years of business experience, with at least 5 years of people leadership experience.
•Solid business performance reporting & analysis, strong financial accounting & reporting skills.
•Experience from working in a truly international environment. Working with people of all level and of multi-functional and multi-cultural teams.
•Proven track record in project management.
•Fluent English, both written and spoken.
•Any other European languages would be an advantage.
