A typical day

As the Project & Product Documentation Manager you will support and develop inhouse applications and system within the Global PLM Team. You will be fully responsible for all the technical aspects of applications and related sub-systems, providing advice and guidance on how to use the system, supporting the existing technical framework and developing new functionalities as required. At the same rime you will be responsible to coordinate all technical support activities utilizing either existing internal IT skills or externals.

Some of your key responsibilities:

• Be an active part of the PLM team supporting the applications, with full responsibility for the technical coding and database areas.
• Support and drive the commonality in IT to enable common data and common processes across Electrolux.
• Drive improvements in the Data Quality within the applications.
• Support the applications technical environment and provide full end to end support.
• Control all system Issues/requests and together with the other IT teams ensure user satisfaction.
• Proactively manage changes in applications and improving and developing new functionality according to business needs.
• Identify potential crises and advise contingency plans.
• Ensure all applications interfaces are operational and updated in line with new business requirements.
• Ensure the integrity of the data in applications and the accuracy of the data reporting.
• Be able to deliver results through the use of and interaction with the various other Electrolux IT teams and Business user community.

Education & experience
(Minimum qualifications)

• A degree in IT or similar.
• Experience of developing/supporting IT solutions, preferably in complex global organizations
• Good IT technical knowledge combined with a good understanding of the Business processes supported by the applications.
• Good understanding of SQL database (MS SQL,DB/2).
• Good understanding System Interfacing techniques (ETL/PentaHo/FTP/PM4Data).
• Good IT capacity and skills to deliver and maintain Datawarehouse/BI solutions in a professional manner.
• A basic business understanding of the data used in our Industrial Operations environment.
