Quality Gate Operator, 2nd Shift, Anderson, SC (B)
Is responsible to perform product and process inspections at multiple work stations per need, based on work instructions, other documented quality criteria as well as personal knowledge of subsequent product and process requirements and confirm if the product is correct or not, and if it is eligible for rework.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Apply product acceptance and/or reject criteria based on quality standards.
Able to apply process and product knowledge in determination of good/bad characteristics that are not currently defined per instructions.
Dispose product in process and/or finished good product based on product classification and data analysis.
Ability to rework product where applicable.
Responsible to fill out different forms and reports to communicate inspection status and results
Responsible to apply all the requirements related to EMS, ISO9000/14000 according to this position.
SKILL SET AND QUALIFICATIONS
Six months working in the production line
4 attendance points maximum
Able to fill different forms and reports
Good communication skills to both communicate results of inspections and activities clearly and to be able to rapidly integrate input from Engineering, Quality, and Operations on developing product and process standards.
Basic computer skills to input data into spreadsheets (excel) and/or databases (Access/MES)
High School Diploma
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to operate product and equipment. The employee frequently is required to push carts full of material to appropriate stocking locations. The employee is required to stand and lift materials to shelves for stocking. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and ability to adjust focus.
